It was a long drive, packed into a too-small car with all their friends from the GSA. It was a joyful drive, singing showtunes with the windows rolled down. They'd spent all night getting their shirts ready, sharpied with messages like Butch and Queen and Fabulous. After a few hours of sleep, bedecked in their finery, they were on the road and headed to a day that promised wonder. When finally reached their destination, Wren's first thought was red. There was a sea of red shirts stretching off as far as their eyes could see. And above the red, smiles and laughter, and above all, belonging.
